Finding Unity in Unexpected Places

Unity Photo

I recently went with my Aunt to see a Christmas festival of lights.  My husband and children and I picked her up and spent the day shopping a little and had supper out at Swiss Chalet.  We stayed until dark and then took in the festival of lights.  It was so wonderful to look at.  The lights were set up in a park in the city center and the church across the street had bells ringing and music.  A horse drawn buggy was touring the downtown as an old fashioned way to take in the sights.  The only thing that was missing was the snow.  We walked through the park and I saw this message on one of the older displays (The town has been doing this for years and it was interesting to see the progression in technology from painted plywood to LED lighting.)  This greeting was the first display that I saw that night in the park and I took a picture:

“So powerful is the light of unity that it can illuminate the whole Earth.”
